Peony bloom- a unique natural phenomenon that can be observed in the steppe regions of the Altai Territory (Mikhailovsky, Yegoryevsky, Volchikhinsky districts). It grows in steppe meadows, in thickets of steppe shrubs on the gentle slopes of hills and hills of the Altai Territory.

Areas of the steppes that are not plowed up blaze pink in the spring - this is a peony blooming. The plant is listed in the Red Book.

The steppe peony blooms for a very short period -5-7 days... The plant blooms on May 18-24.
