In the fall of 2016, the Gornaya Apteka tourist center officially opened its own restaurant. The interior has been recreatedthe noble living room of the late 18th - early 19th centuries... She is reminded of velvet curtains and wallpaper with wide vertical stripes. Furniture for the halls of the restored premises was collected from antique shops and flea markets. Wooden sideboards, elegant bureaus, antique lamps and candelabra, samovars and mirrors, antique pianos in the restaurant are authentic, keeping the spirit of the times. Even the photographs on the walls are real (this is a gift from the local history museum). Only the tiled stove, which was indispensable for the interior of those times, could not be placed due to lack of space. It is replaced by a symbolic façade in the corner of the room with white ceramic tiles.

Having dined in one of the three halls for several tables, guests of the institution can examine the stone cellars, where the tasting room of the restaurant and the storage of barrels with pickles, wines and berry liqueurs are located. Historical details about the "Gornaya Apteka" and Barnaul are told by the waiters.

Feature of the menu- traditional Siberian cuisine, drinks according to original recipes and homemade ice cream. However, you can also order European dishes, which were enjoyed by the wealthy townspeople of that time.

In addition to the restaurant, in the tourist center "Gornaya Apteka"pharmacy museumand a boutique of unique products of Altai. Here you can taste and buy Altai honey, natural oils, antler maral breeding products, desserts and drinks made from local berries.
