Restaurant "Polzunov"

This conceptual Russian cuisine establishment appeared in Barnaul in 2003. The basis of the menu is dishes with a pronounced national flavor and certain delicacies (some are prepared according to recipes from the 18th century). Stylization under Russian merchant antiquity creates a special atmosphere of respectability in "Polzunov". The interior, designed by the Barnaul designer Viktor Malofeev, is rich in antique items of Russian everyday life of the 18th-19th centuries. At the entrance there is a model of a steam engine invented by Ivan Polzunov, after whose name the restaurant is named. The restaurant's central refectory with a bar overlooks the busy avenue. A small VIP room is suitable for business, friendly or romantic meetings. Its guests can play billiards, have fun with karaoke, or look through books about Barnaul and the Altai Territory. For crowded holidays, they often use a banquet hall with a stage. The list of guest rooms includes a smoking room. For regular customers, "Polzunovo" prepares breakfasts according to their favorite recipe. The facility's arsenal also has a special "flight" menu, express delivery of ready-made meals and buffet sets, and on-site service. Since 2014, the best students of the Altai Academy of Hospitality have been practicing on the basis of Polzunov.
