The Central District Park is the oldest park in Barnaul. From the middle of the 18th century, there was a pharmacy garden, where medicinal plants were grown, in the 19th century - a botanical garden.
Attractions for children and adults appeared only in 1948-1949, but by this time the park already had a summer cinema with a veranda, a stage and a dance floor.
In the Central Park there are attractions such as Veselye Gorki, Karusel, Autodrom and others. Exhibitions, sports competitions, game programs and performances for children are held. In winter, the skating rink is filled.
