In 1997, a new park, Solar Wind, was created in a park near the former Transmash recreation center. For 20 years, the possibilities of entertainment in it have grown from several attractions to more than 25 - for children, families and extreme ones. During the working season of the park, large-scale city holidays, concerts of local dancers and vocalists are held here, the program of master classes and animation entertainment is updated weekly.

After the creation of the Solar Wind, Altai-Park has equipped several more recreation areas for the townspeople: the Extreme active recreation park, the Barnaul Fortress historical-style game complex and the Solar Wind park in the Arena shopping center with a set attractions, a labyrinth and a children's playroom.
