The museum shows the history of enterprises, institutions, the modern life of the city. Much attention is paid to exhibitions. So, in 2009, the following exhibitions were opened: “He looks like his Motherland”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of V.M. Shukshin; "My doll. Visiting a fairy tale "- characters of fairy tales in the height of preschool children; "Reflection of the times of the gone" - postcards depicting women's profiles, from 1902 to 1916, etc.
