Museum-panorama "Altai - History of Russia" was opened on May 25, 2014, the total area of the building is 360 sq. meters, has two exhibition halls. The main exhibit is a huge painting 23 meters long.

The painting depicts zaisans (elders of the Altai peoples) writing a letter to the empress with a request to accept them into the Russian Empire. This is a historical fact, on the basis of which the picture was created. The cognitive aspect of tourism is very important here; the museum focuses primarily on excursions for children and youth.

Today, in tourism, the emotional component is of great importance, there is a social demand for a fairy tale, history, legend. All this is woven into the fabric of the museum's excursion program. The tour of the Panorama Museum starts on the bus. On the way, tourists are told three legends - about the Golden Baba, the White Maral and Cape Kuan. Instructive and beautiful, these stories create a special emotional background for the trip.

The museum is located on the territory of the Legend art and ethnographic park, where tourists can relax surrounded by amazing wooden sculptures and buy souvenirs.
