Altai Territory, Kosikhinsky District, Kosikha village, st. Soviet, 18.

The famous Russian poet Robert Ivanovich Rozhdestvensky (1932-1994) was born in the village of Kosikha on June 20, 1932. Our fellow countryman entered literature together with a group of talented peers, including Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Bella Akhmadulina, Andrei Voznesensky and other famous poets.

Compatriots cherish the memory of the famous poet. The Kosikhinsky model memorial district library is named after Robert Rozhdestvensky. A memorial museum was opened in 2012. His family is actively participating in the formation of the fund of the Robert Rozhdestvensky Memorial Museum - more than 100 items of museum value have already been donated to the first memorial museum of the poet: photographs, books, records, documents, personal belongings - a mug, an ashtray, a telephone.

With special pride, the museum staff tell about the unique exhibit found by Moscow directors Yuri and Renita Grigoriev. In their archives, a previously unpublished poem by Robert Rozhdestvensky was found. This is the text of a song about students for the documentary "Roads of the Festival" about the VI World Festival of Youth and Students, which was filmed in 1957 at the educational studio of VGIK. The song was not included in the film, as a result, and the poem was not remembered for almost half a century. The museum is a branch of the State Museum of the History of Literature, Art and Culture of Altai.
