Mountain Serpentine - the place of extraction of the first ore gold in Russia. Included in the route"Altai Rudny and Kamenerezny", located in the city of Zmeinogorsk, where mining and smelting of ores has been carried out for a long time, in the region there are still traces of the activities of ancient miners, the so-called "Chud mines" (III-I millennium BC). From here began the exploration of Altai by Russian pioneers, and here the mining, and then stone-cutting business was born.
